The floating ship-based LNG bunkering system is a non-self-propelled vessel equipped with complete refueling infrastructure. It is ideally deployed in sheltered waters with short shore connections, wide channels, gentle currents, deep water depths, and suitable seabed conditions, while maintaining safe distance from populated areas and busy shipping lanes.
The system provides secure berthing and departure areas for LNG-fueled vessels while ensuring no adverse impact on maritime navigation and the environment. Fully compliant with the “Interim Provisions on Safety Supervision and Management of Waterborne LNG Refueling Stations,” it offers multiple configuration options including vessel + wharf, vessel + pipeline gallery + onshore unloading, and independent floating station arrangements. This mature bunkering technology features flexible deployment capabilities and can be readily towed to different locations as needed.
