Core Systems & Technical Features

  1. Onboard LNG Storage Tank & Dynamic Positioning System

The pontoon's core is equipped with a single or multiple combined Type C vacuum-insulated LNG storage tank(s), with total capacity flexibly configurable based on demand (e.g., 500-3000 cubic meters), featuring low boil-off rates and high safety. It is outfitted with a dynamic positioning and thruster system, enabling precise mooring and stable operation in narrow channels or anchorages, adapting to complex hydrological conditions of inland waterways.

  2. Efficient Ship-to-Ship Bunkering & Multi-Source Receiving System

The pontoon is fitted with a high-flow dual-side bunkering system, with a maximum bunkering rate of up to 300 cubic meters per hour. The system is compatible with multiple fuel receiving methods, including truck unloading, shore-based pipeline replenishment, and ship-to-ship transfer. It integrates high-precision mass flow meters and online sampling analyzers to ensure compliant and accurate custody transfer.

  3. Inland Waterway Adaptability & High-Safety Design

The design fully considers the characteristics of inland waterways, such as shallow vessel draft and numerous bridge areas:

    • Shallow Draft Design: Optimized hull lines and tank layout ensure safe operation in shallow waters.
    • Collision Protection & Stability: The bunkering area is equipped with fenders, and hull stability meets safety requirements under complex conditions like vessel approach/departure and bunkering operations.
    • Intelligent Safety & Security: Integrates gas leak detection, video surveillance within the pontoon area, and Emergency Release Couplings (ERC) and safety interlocks (ESD) with receiving vessels.
  4. Intelligent Operation & Energy Self-Sufficiency System

The pontoon is equipped with a Smart Energy Efficiency Management Platform, supporting remote order management, bunkering schedule optimization, equipment status monitoring, and energy efficiency data analysis. It also features an onboard photovoltaic power generation system and an LNG cold energy power generation/refrigeration unit, achieving partial energy self-sufficiency, reducing operational carbon emissions, and capable of providing emergency power or cold energy services to receiving vessels.
