Project Overview
This project, located in Chonburi Province, Thailand, is the region's first LNG regasification station delivered under a full EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) Turnkey Contract. Centered around ambient air vaporization technology, the station safely and efficiently converts received liquefied natural gas into ambient-temperature gaseous natural gas for stable distribution to surrounding industrial zones and the city gas network. It serves as a key piece of infrastructure for enhancing the energy corridor in Eastern Thailand and improving regional gas supply reliability.

- High-Efficiency Ambient Air Vaporization System
The station's core employs high-capacity, modular ambient air vaporizers. These units facilitate heat exchange through natural convection between efficient finned tubes and the ambient air, requiring zero operational energy consumption and producing zero carbon emissions during the vaporization process. The system can intelligently adjust the number of operating units based on downstream demand and real-time air temperature, maintaining exceptional vaporization efficiency and stability in Thailand's consistently warm climate. - Fully Modularized & Skid-Mounted Design
All core process units, including the ambient air vaporizer skid, BOG recovery skid, pressure regulation & metering skid, and station control system skid, are prefabricated, integrated, and tested off-site. This "plug-and-play" approach drastically reduces on-site welding and assembly work, significantly shortens the construction timeline, and ensures overall process quality and safety. - Intelligent Operation & Safety Management
The station is equipped with an integrated SCADA monitoring and Safety Instrumented System (SIS), enabling real-time monitoring and interlocked control of key parameters such as vaporizer outlet temperature, pressure, and flow rate. The system features load forecasting and automatic distribution capabilities and supports remote diagnostics, data analysis, and preventive maintenance via a cloud-based platform, ensuring safe, unattended 24/7 operation. - Environmental Adaptability & Low-Carbon Design
To withstand the high-temperature, high-humidity, and high-salinity coastal industrial environment of Chonburi, the vaporizers and associated piping systems are protected with heavy-duty anti-corrosion coatings and special alloy materials. The overall design maximizes vaporization efficiency by leveraging the local ambient temperature. Furthermore, the integrated BOG (Boil-Off Gas) recovery and reuse unit effectively prevents greenhouse gas venting, enabling near-zero emissions station operation.
