As a turnkey project, it encompassed full-cycle services from design and procurement to construction, commissioning, and operational support. Core Systems & Technical Features

  1. Efficient Modular Regasification System
    The station's core features a modular, parallel regasification system, primarily utilizing ambient air vaporizers complemented by auxiliary heating units to ensure stable operation in high-temperature and high-humidity conditions. The system has a design daily processing capacity of XX (to be specified) with a wide load adjustment range of 30%-110%.   2. Adaptability Design for Tropical Coastal Environment

    • Vaporizers, piping, and structural components use special stainless steel and heavy-duty anti-corrosion coatings to resist salt spray corrosion.
    • Electrical systems and instrument cabinets feature moisture-proof and enhanced designs with protection ratings of IP65 or higher.
    • The station layout balances efficient process flow with ventilation and heat dissipation, with equipment spacing complying with safety codes for tropical regions.
  3. Intelligent Operation & Safety Control System
    The entire station is centrally monitored and managed by an integrated SCADA system and a Safety Instrumented System (SIS), enabling automated control of the regasification process, automatic BOG recovery, equipment health diagnostics, and remote fault. The system includes multi-level safety interlocks (covering leak detection, fire alarms, and Emergency Shutdown - ESD) and is linked to the local fire-fighting system, meeting both international and Thailand's highest safety standards.
  4. BOG Recovery & Comprehensive Energy Utilization Design
    The system integrates an efficient BOG recovery and recondensation unit, achieving near-zero emissions of boil-off gas from the station. Furthermore, the project interfaces for cold energy utilization, allowing the future use of released during LNG regasification for district cooling or related industrial processes, thereby improving the station's overall energy efficiency and economics.

EPC Turnkey Services & Localized Implementation
As the EPC contractor, HOUPU provided a one-stop solution covering preliminary survey, process design, equipment procurement and integration, civil construction, installation and commissioning, personnel training, and operational support. The project team overcame multiple challenges including international logistics, adaptation to local regulations, and construction in a hot and humid climate, ensuring high-quality, on-time project delivery. A comprehensive local operation, maintenance, and technical service system was also established.
