Core Product & Technical Features
- Large-Capacity, Low-Evaporation Storage System
The station employs double-walled metal full-containment high-vacuum insulated storage tanks with a design evaporation rate below 0.3% per day. It is equipped with an advanced Boil-Off Gas (BOG) recovery and reliquefaction unit, minimizing LNG product loss during idle periods. The tank system incorporates multi-parameter safety monitoring and automatic pressure regulation modules to accommodate frequent transfer operations and external temperature fluctuations. - Fully Automated, High-Precision Dispensing Integration System
The dispensing units feature a mass flow meter metering system coupled with cryogenic-specific liquid loading arms, integrated with automatic homing, emergency release, and drip recovery functions. The system includes a pre-cooling circulation loop and real-time temperature-density compensation algorithms, ensuring dispensing accuracy with an error margin not exceeding ±1.5% under various operating conditions. The maximum single-nozzle flow rate reaches 220 L/min, supporting multi-nozzle parallel operation and efficient fleet refueling scheduling. - Extreme Environment-Adaptive Structural Design
To withstand Nigeria's port climate characterized by intense heat, high humidity, and salt spray, station equipment implements triple-layer protection:- Material Protection: Piping and valves use austenitic stainless steel with surface passivation treatment.
- Structural Protection: Dispensers and pump skids feature an overall sealed design with a protection rating of IP67.
- System Protection: The electrical control system integrates temperature/humidity regulation and salt mist filtration units.
- Intelligent Operation & IoT Safety Platform
The entire station is built on an IoT architecture, forming a Station Management System (SMS) that enables:- Remote, real-time visual monitoring of tank level, temperature, and pressure.
- Automatic synchronization and management of refueling records, vehicle identification, and settlement data.
- Automatic triggering of safety alerts (leak, overpressure, fire) and a tiered emergency response mechanism.
- Data interoperability with higher-level energy management platforms or port dispatch systems.
Localized Service & Sustainable Development Support
Beyond supplying the complete set of equipment and system integration, the project team established a comprehensive service ecosystem for the local operator. This includes an operator training system, preventive maintenance plans, remote technical support, and a local spare parts inventory. The commissioning of this station not only fills a gap in Nigeria's specialized LNG refueling infrastructure but also provides a highly replicable benchmark case for promoting green fuel applications in West Africa's coastal ports and logistics hubs.
