This project is a CO₂ conversion to carbon monoxide test equipment of Tianjin Carbon Source Technology Co., Ltd., which is an important technical verification project of the company in the field of carbon resource utilization.
The designed production capacity of the equipment is 50 Nm³/h of high-purity carbon monoxide.
It adopts the CO₂ hydrogenation reduction technology route and converts CO₂ into CO under the action of a special catalyst. Then, the product gas is purified by pressure swing adsorption.
The process includes units such as CO₂ purification, hydrogenation reaction, and product separation. The CO₂ conversion rate exceeds 85%, and the CO selectivity exceeds 95%.
The PSA purification unit adopts a four-tower microconfiguration, and the product CO purity can reach over 99%.
The equipment is designed in a full packer form, with an overall size of 6m×2.4m×2.8m. It is convenient for transportation and installation, and the on-site commissioning period only takes 1 week.
The successful operation of this test equipment has verified the feasibility of the CO₂ resource utilization to produce carbon monoxide technology, providing important process data and operation experience for subsequent industrialization expansion, and has significant environmental protection significance and technical demonstration value.
