
This project is an important component of the resource utilization project for coke oven gas of Shanxi Fengxi Huairui Coal Chemical Co., Ltd., aiming to purify hydrogen from coke oven gas for use in chemical synthesis. The designed processing capacity of the device is 25,000 Nm³/h.
It adopts a “pre-treatment + pressure swing adsorption” combined process. The raw coke oven gas first undergoes purification treatments such as desulfurization, desalination, and dephosphorization, and then enters the PSA unit to purify hydrogen. The PSA system adopts a twelve-tower configuration, with the product hydrogen purity reaching 99.9%, and the hydrogen recovery rate exceeding 88%.
The daily production of hydrogen is 600,000 Nm³. The designed pressure of the device is 2.2 MPa. It uses corrosion-resistant materials and special sealing design to adapt to the trace impurity components in the coke oven gas.
The on-site installation period is 7 months. It adopts modular design and factory pre-assembly, reducing on-site construction workload by 40%.
The successful operation of this device has achieved efficient recovery and utilization of hydrogen resources in coke oven gas. The annual processing capacity of coke oven gas exceeds 200 million Nm³, providing a successful example for resource utilization in coal chemical enterprises.
