Core Systems & Technical Features
  1. High-Efficiency, Low-Carbon Pure LNG Power System

The vessel's core utilizes a pure LNG-fueled engine. Compared to traditional diesel power, it achieves zero emissions of sulfur oxides (SOx), reduces particulate matter (PM) emissions by over 99%, and lowers nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions by more than 85%, fully complying with China's latest emission control requirements for inland vessels. The engine has been specifically calibrated to optimize performance under low-speed, high-torque conditions, making it particularly suitable for the operational profile of port workboats characterized by frequent starts/stops and high-load towing.

  2. Compact Marine LNG Fuel Storage & Supply System

Addressing the space constraints of inland vessels, an innovatively designed miniaturized, integrated Type C LNG fuel tank and Fuel Gas Supply System (FGSS) was developed and applied. The fuel tank features vacuum multilayer insulation for low boil-off rates. The highly integrated FGSS modularizes functions such as vaporization, pressure regulation, and control, resulting in a small footprint and easy maintenance. The system includes automatic pressure and temperature regulation to ensure a stable gas supply under varying ambient temperatures and engine loads.

  3. Inland Waterway Adaptability & High-Safety Design

The entire system design fully considers the characteristics of inland waterways:

    • Draft & Dimension Optimization: The compact layout of the fuel system does not compromise the vessel's original stability and maneuverability.
    • Collision Protection & Vibration Resistance: The fuel tank area is equipped with anti-collision structures, and the piping system is designed for vibration resistance.
    • Multi-Layer Safety Barriers: Strictly adhering to CCS's "Rules for Natural Gas Fueled Ships," the vessel is equipped with multiple safety measures including gas leak detection, engine room ventilation linkage, an Emergency Shutdown System (ESD), and nitrogen inerting protection.
  4. Intelligent Energy Efficiency Management & Shore Connectivity

The vessel is equipped with a Ship Energy Efficiency Management System (SEEMS), which monitors main engine operating conditions, fuel consumption, tank status, and emission data in real-time, providing optimal operational recommendations to the crew. The system supports the wireless transmission of key data back to a shore-based management center, enabling digitalized fleet energy efficiency management and shore-based technical support.
